Lawson Lundell LLP hosted an informative Construction Law Lunch and Learn about how to Make the Most of the Mechanics Lien Act the week of October 15th in Yellowknife and Iqaluit. Glen Rutland provided us with an overview of the Act and how to work with it.

We enjoyed an afternoon of fun on the Back 9 at the Yellowknife Golf Club as we hosted our Annual Golf Tournament and Steak Dinner on July 21st. We would like to thank everyone who participated as well as the businesses who made donations.


The NNCA hosted another successful Curling FUNspiel and Chili Cook-off on Friday, March 3, 2017. Everything fell into place at the last minute with five entries in our hotly contested Chili Cook-off and sixteen teams participating in an afternoon of fun.

We encourage you to consider joining our board and attending our meetings to provide input and direction into our activities. We are a member association and as such, we strive to serve, represent, and promote our members.

The NNCA offered a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt course in Yellowknife and in Hay River in January and February 2017.
